Fundraising and Business Development Coordinator

Michelle, who joined the SPA team in February 2012, has over 10 years experience in fundraising, relationship management, and business development in the not-for-profit sector. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne, and attained a Certificate of Business in Philanthropic and Not-for-Profit Studies from the Queensland University of Technology in 2008.

In her role at SPA she oversees individual fundraising and donations, philanthropic and corporate support, and selected government grants. Michelle is particularly excited to be overseeing the SPA Ambassador’s program, and is looking forward to working with our Ambassadors to bring about greater community awareness of suicide and suicide prevention in the Australian community.

Prior to working at SPA, Michelle has held fundraising roles with Youth Off The Streets, ACON (former AIDS Council of NSW), WorkVentures, and was on the Management Committee at Marrickville Community Legal Centre.
