Mel joined Suicide Prevention Australia in July 2012 as Executive Assistant/Secretariat Support Officer. Since leaving school in 2005, Mel has enjoyed working both in an office and retail environment. Following her time at Guardian Finance, she took some time out to gain a qualification in Makeup Artistry at Sydney’s Academy of Makeup.
Her role at Suicide Prevention Australia includes but it not limited to, assisting CEO Susan Murray in all areas, as well as supporting the team at Suicide Prevention Australia. She is also responsible for the general day to day running of the office.
Mel’s personal interests include scrapbooking, travelling, music, bushwalking and being outdoors in general.
