Workplace
Cbus, Construction & Building Industry Super
Cbus is an industry superannuation fund that originated in the construction, building and allied industries. To help ensure members health, Cbus actively promotes health awareness including mental health. Cbus is a Corporate Champion of Suicide Prevention Australia.
Incolink
Incolink, a joint enterprise of employer associations and unions in the building and construction industry, operates the Life Care Suicide Prevention Program, aimed at suicide prevention in the building and construction industry. Life Care delivers life care skills to workers and apprentices across Victoria, assisting them to prepare for, and cope with, the pressures of work and daily life. A Life Care counsellor is available for on-site visits and to assist workers and apprentices create pathways into support services. Incolink is delivering the life care program in association with Cbus Superannuation. OzHelp Foundation
The OzHelp Foundation is an early intervention, suicide prevention and social capacity building program targeting industry and community. It is built on a vision to enhance the resilience of industry apprentices, workers and the broader community through training and support. The national office is located in Canberra. Read the Signs
Read the Signs promotes help seeking strategies to prevent suicide, especially among men. The website offers a range of information, resources and contact details. The campaign is a joint initiative of MTAA Super and Lifeline and is aimed at meeting the needs members and their communities within the motor trades and kindred industries.
Staying Connected, Child Support Agency
Staying Connected is a program which specifically targets separated parents in the workplace. The Child Support Agency has trained facilitators to deliver the program in workplaces across Australia.
Working Well
A partnership initiative between depressioNet and the MBF Foundation that is designed to integrate various aspects of depressioNet's unique online peer support interactive services to support people in the workplace living with depression.
