However, as this information is gathered using volunteer services, we may have regrettably missed out on including some quality links. Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
The AASW is the professional representative body of social workers in Australia.
Australian Medical Association (AMA)
The AMA is an organisation whose members are registered medical practitioners and medical students. As the peak health advocacy organisation, it exists to advance the professional interests of doctors and the health of the community.
Australian Mental Health Consumer Network
The peak, national non-government mental health consumer organisation representing the interests of Australian mental health consumers.
Australian Psychological Society (APS)
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) is the largest professional association for psychologists in Australia. The website provides community information including information about psychologists, contact details of psychologists and online resources, brochures, tool-kits and articles on the psychological issues.
Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC)
The Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) is the peak body for non-government organisations (NGOs) working for mental health throughout New South Wales. They offer a range of training courses and seminars.
Mental Health Council of Australia (MHCA)
The Mental Health Council of Australia (MHCA) is the peak, national non-government organisation for the Australian mental health sector. They offer a range of workshops.
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
RANZCP is the principal organisation representing the medical specialty of psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand.
